Permaculture practitioners and enthusiasts from all around India are invited to get in touch with us. We are the recently founded Permaculture Society of India, founded and chaired by expatriate Australian - Vic Gaffney - a permaculture enthusiast for the past 25 years.
The Society is currently developing a database of contacts around the country and building a repository of useful information to assist allcomers in the development of a broader acceptance, application and implementation of Permaculture principles, ethics and techniques, throughout India and South Asia.
We are interested to hear about your projects ... successes and failures! ... and we want to publish all your articles, experiences and testimonials on our new [beta] website situated at http://permaculture.in.
We also facilitate volunteers for WWOOF India, and administer a growing database of host farms. Soon we will launh weekend workshops to orient newcomers in permaculture concepts, and plan to offer fully fledged PDC courses under the aegis of the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.
